raquel is a designer and art director based in London.

Born in Galicia - She is specialised in trend forecasting, with an interest in colour and art. In 2012, as a student she got invited to her first British Textile Colour Group meeting, the committee that represents Britain at Intercolour.

Soon after, she started working for one of the members’ companies - which brought her the opportunity to start her career in this very secretive and small industry by taking part in all aspects of the creative process- researching, editing, curating, sourcing, writing and working on presentations each season from there on.

She has attended numerous trade shows, art fairs, and client and agent meetings which have provided her knowledge of not only how the trend forecasting world works but also retail and fashion behind closed doors.

As well as her experience in trend, she also has received training in Art Direction at the London College of Fashion; there, creating a good narrative through informed visuals became the core of her personal practice.

Other personal interests include creative writing, art, literature, psychology and music.
